Rx for Leadership: 3 Doses of Inspiration, By Sonia Riverin

Join us each month for a (short) new series from Women Leaders in Pharma (WLP) – which we are calling Rx for Leadership: 3 Doses of Inspiration – where we ask WLP leaders to answer three rapid-fire questions. 

This week, we welcome Sonia Riverin, who has more than two decades as a pharmaceutical and medical recruiter, and recently became a WLP Board Member.

I would describe my job to a five-year-old as … making people happy. There is power in finding happiness in what you do – and it’s important to make joy in your job a priority.

Being on the Board of WLP is important to me because … I believe I can make a difference to help women reach their full potential, whether that’s advising on building your personal brand, offering advice on one’s next career move, or simply listening. 

My dream for WLP would be … to have chapters in all provinces so women across Canada can benefit from the many different events that that we hold, and all that WLP has to offer.
